What Marriage Equality Means Across 50 States – Representing Colorado!

Thanks in part to my previous post regarding the Denver Pride Parade, I was asked by PFLAG National if my family would be willing to represent Colorado in a story regarding what marriage equality means to LGBT families across the nation. After considering it for approximately one millisecond, I said, “Absolutely!” Even if we were not featured, I would share this particular story anyway because it shows so many families just like mine … and just like yours. These families aren’t asking for special treatment, they’re asking for equal treatment.

What Marriage Equality Means Across the 50 States

And as the Divine Miss M noted, “Not too bad for living in a place that used to be known as the Hate State.”

      Thank you! I was very surprised and humbled. And it was nice to have something exciting and positive like this during the stress of waiting on the Supreme Court rulings.
